As a fully qualified medical herbalist and naturopath, I offer my clients the recovery options that I have successfully used myself and with clients over the last 2 years. In this 6-week programme, I am offering you a structured holistic approach to show you how you can manage your own recovery journey, in a natural way, with support from me and the group.
Your 6 weeks fatigue recovery programme
Here’s what your holistic (draft) recovery programme looks like. Each session focuses on an area of your body or lifestyle which may be out of balance and could be contributing to your fatigue. For many people, fatigue not caused by a specific illness or disease, is caused by a variety of factors, so by looking at each of these in turn and talking action, you will put the foundation stones in place for recovering your energy.
Session will be 60 minutes with the exception of week 6’s session at 75 minutes, so you can fully experience and enjoy the restorative yoga and yoga nidra.
Week 1 - Let’s get started – starting your recovery journey
We’ll go back to basics and look at the potential causes of fatigue and chronic fatigue, to help with awareness of what has contributed to you feeling worn out and a shadow of former yourself. Hint - it’s often more than just one thing.
We' will then dive into the recovery strategy and why and how it’s important to support both our physical mental and emotional wellbeing in order to overcome fatigue and how we are going approach it over the 6 weeks.
We will then start our journey by diving in and trying some easy breathing practices that have been shown to reduce stress and could help you to feel more energised.
Week 2 - Foundation and Building blocks – Nutrition
What you eat can influence your energy levels for the better or it can contribute to fatigue. This week we will discuss:
Foods to remove from your diet or reduce the amount you are eating and drinking.
Foods to include in your diet to support detoxification, digestion, emotional wellbeing, hormone balance and immunity.
Making the changes easier by introducing healthy and nutritious swaps.
Week 3 - Cleansing & detoxifying the body & supporting the gut
Your body can be affected by toxins that we have accumulated - from the environment, our food through pesticide residue and from stress. Safely remove damaging toxins from your body will help to restore and enhance your body’s ability to produce energy and reduce the feelings of tiredness and brain fog.
This week we will discover:
Why cleansing and detoxifying your body is important and how it can be done gently and in a safe way – juicing is not mandatory!
Why supporting your gut is so important and how to make easy changes that can help.
Herbs and spices that could help and how to incorporate them in your everyday meals.
Herbal and nutritional supplements that may help support gentle cleansing.
Week 4 - Supporting the immune system
In Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or Post Viral fatigue syndrome (where you are left with persistence tiredness after an illness), the immune system may not be working effectively. It is therefore important to support the immune system to help your body to regain its natural vitality.
This week we will explore:
What can affect immune system function and look at the role played by infection, stress and other potential contributing factors
Herbs and Supplements that could help to support immunity.
Why managing stress is so important for a well-functioning immune system.
Week 5 - Reducing stress and anxiety and supporting sleep
Long term or chronic stress and anxiety can drain your body of energy and reducing and managing stress is important for your journey back to health and vitality.
This week we will look at:
How stress and anxiety could cause fatigue.
How and what herbs and supplements could help you.
How flower remedies, mindfulness, meditation and yoga can aid relaxation and reduce stress.
Week 6 - The practice of deep rest with restorative yoga
Rest is so important when recovering from fatigue. However, do you really allow your body and mind to relax so your body is able to start to recover? Restorative yoga has been shown to help with recovery from fatigue.
This week, guided by an experience restorative yoga teacher, you will experience how restorative yoga and yoga nidra can help you and your body to deeply relax and feel more energised.
We will also recap on the 6 weeks of the programme and discuss how you will take forward your journey back to recovering your natural energetic high.

Mindfulness and meditation practices to support your emotional and mental wellbeing.
Q&A session
ALL classes will be recorded, so you will be able to listen to the recording if you are unable to make the session or want to listen to it again.

If you are experiencing persistent fatigue, it is very important you first speak to your GP, as fatigue can be a symptom of many serious conditions and illnesses, which will need to be ruled out by tests, including blood tests.
